Joaquin and Jacinta saying, "It's darkie" or "Darkie" when it gets dark outside or if we pass through a tunnel.
Jacinta saying, "One, two, three... wake, Jeff!" to me one morning trying to wake me up. Before she said this, she poked one of my eyes, of course, to make sure that I needed to be woken up.
Jacinta saying, "May I gimme, please, my phone, please" when we're actually trying to teach her to say, "May I use your phone, please."
Joaquin calling himself, "Aquina." When we ask who's turn it is to do something, Joaquin says, "Aquina's turn, Aquina's turn." I think he believes that his name is somehow similar to Jacinta's name. Hence, the added -na sound.
Joaquin identifying toffee (coffee) ice cream at the local ice cream shop.
Jacinta being able to pick up small objects using her toes. Toes!
Joaquin and Jacinta commanding us to, "Lay down" or "Sit down" next to them.
Joaquin properly asking for something when he really, really wants that something.
Jacinta likes to floss. Floss! I hope you keep this up, baby.
Joaquin and Jacinta asking, "Where is gramma?" when looking for their Grandpa Dino.
Jacinta (and Joaquin a couple of times) wanting the Princess pull-up diapers, instead of the plain diapers.
Joaquin likes kecakes (pancakes) and Jacinta likes eggs. They both love bacon.
Jacinta caring for her 'lotions'. I bought for Jacinta a few small bottles of anti-bacterial hand gels and she was treating them as though they were her babies. She placed them on a bunch of towels and covered them with more towels saying that they were cold. It was a precious moment.
Joaquin making a makeshift sleeping area for himself and Jacinta. He took a couple of their blankets, placed them on the floor, grabbed two pillows and told Jacinta to, "sleep her, bebe." Then, he placed the blanket on her, gave her a kiss and said, "good night, bebe."
